LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

I was in need of some Valentine's decor, so last year I decided to do something about that. I saw these simple/cute hearts at www.alittletipsy.com and knew that this was the craft for me. I ran to Walmart and picked up the fabric and ribbon. I ended up with this fabric because it was a remnant and the price fit in to my budget. It actually turned out being quite cute.

The only things that you need for these hearts are: cardboard, fabric, ribbon (or other cute embellishments) and a glue gun.

First take your cardboard and draw a heart and then draw a second heart inside of that one. Use a razor blade to cute out the heart frame and voila, you are ready for the glue gun and fabric.

I just cut a small piece and the edge of the fabric and then tore it into strips. I liked the ripped look and I loved how fast it was to do. You then just attach with hot glue. Glue the end of a strip and wrap the fabric around and around until the entire cardboard heart is covered. Add your ribbon and embellishments and you have a simple/cute Valentine decoration. Sorry about the weird instructions. If they don't make any sense, then just click on the link above for professional instructions. :)
