One day I was making no bake cookies to take to a little get together and I was trying to figure out the best way to make them. Should I put them in a pan, cut and serve them or drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and serve them like a cookie. Both ways seemed messy because there would be quite a few kids there who would be eating these delicious, yet messy sweets.
I suddenly had an idea! I thought it would be great to put them in cupcake wrappers. Not only does it look cute, but it is easier to divide out into single servings and it might cut down on the mess. Here are a few pictures of our tasty treats. It really made serving them easier and cute down on the mess!
No Bake Cookies
(This is the recipe that I like to use)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cube butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups oatmeal
4 Tbs. cocoa
1 Tbs. vanilla
In a large pot, bring sugar, butter and milk to a good boil. Take off stove and mix in peanut butter, oatmeal, cocoa and vanilla. Drop onto wax paper to cool, or drop into cupcake wrappers for a cute and easy way to serve! I spray a little cooking spray in the cups, but you might not need to do that. I just haven't tried it without yet. :)
