My nephew told his Mom that he wanted a blue birthday party this year. She decorated with blue, made goodie bags full of blue candy and we all wore blue. It was fun! My sister asked if I would make the cake for the party and of course I said yes! I knew immediately what I wanted to do. I had seen this technique and thought it would be so cute! I loved doing the ombre frosting. It turned out fun and my nephew loved it. That's really what matters the most!
